Again (For Poetry Pantry)
I've been hobbled at times
Walked with twisted limbs, tripped on unmended soles
I've been hampered on days with the weight of worry,
bending my spirit like trees in winter wind
This snow lays cold when a weakness comes
Then I feel deeply as I struggle to the waiting Spring,
When I am fiery, strong again

Wow, I DEFINATELY relate to this poem, S.Q. The weight of worry.......hampered, bent.......only without the hope of getting stronger next spring:) SUCH a well done poem and read the others listed below as well. Remarkable poems. Good work!
Nicely said.

Seasons due tend to renew don't they...felt.
normal worries,
get over it by writing a poem like this.
fabulous flow.
It is a coincidence! Strange. :)Though I like they way you portrayed the bending trees much better.
SC, the weight of worry can be a heavy one; something many can relate to. Very well written post! =)

This is a very emotive piece. i always love poems which link human emotion to the seasons and you've done it so well.
