I don't want your pity
I don't want your crying eyes
your sympathy
your warm caress
I want your wealth
your money to revel in
your devilish lucre to be mine
I want you to be something once more
that wilding tigress
I'll tame you one last time
Then I'm off
To spend as I please
To find wilder cats in far lands
What I leave behind are details
Small cages of time that were ours

This has a penetrating melancholy. Like a moment that was complete but then slips away into the tomorrow traffic. Hey, maybe we can slip out of traffic and take the back roads?
